Clueless: Washougal

Despite the massive time-difference, I was actually able to catch the first motos of Washougal, and for some reason Mike Alessi and Ryan Dungey had dropped down to the 250 class... at least that what I assumed had happened, until they actually the lined the 250s up afterwards. It seems that for the first time in a month, there was some good racing (blocking) in the 450 class.... which is always nice (except for Dungey).

It seems apparent that I do need to include a disclaimer each week I write this column so here it is: None of what is written here is to be taken seriously. I do it all as a joke at the expense of either the fans who comment, the riders who participate or just generally the sport itself. - Vince Friese is the most popular rider in the series right now

- No wait, that's wrong... everyone hates him

- If there were two riders I wouldn't want to start a fight with, Ken de Dycker would be one of them, Weston Peick would be the other

- THe track was definitely not one-lined, but it was definitely difficult to pass on

- The best way to produce great racing is to have a "one-lined" track, with a fast guy behind a much slower guy

- I really think they need to change the design of that "Trey Canard Scrub Jump"... looks almost as dangerous as Vince Friese

- You know the TV schedule is confusing, when the commentators don't know when they are appearing on TV

- Will the 2x World Champion get a moto win before the 1x World Champion? Surely he must, seeing as he is twice as good

- Baggett is no longer the best rider in the world, he is in-fact, human

- Except in the second moto, when he became a superhuman again

- Nice one Fredrik Noren for your 8th in moto 2

- Dammit, Josh Hill didn't get a top 10

- Mike Alessi gave a perfect lesson in how to hold off faster opponents when leading, Marvin Musquin did not
