Hey guys, welcome to the first installment of "Droppin a blog."
This is my photo/ randomness blog where I hope to have some sweet riding shots, as well as some behind the scenes photos with some humor thrown in from time to time. I don't race much now but I am still riding every chance I get, so I will be at the tracks often, taking photos and riding mostly around Texas. It may not be So Cal but we have a lot of top guys living in the Lone Star State. I will be hooking up with the who's who of Texas motocross and updating via my new blogspot here on Vurb.
For the first edition I headed to Wil Hahn's house for a couple days. Most of the other pros are stuck in California, which is getting pounded with rain. Wil decided to fly back to Texas to get three extra days of riding in. Wil has been riding good so far this season, posting up some of the fastest lap times of the entire lites class, and after spending some time with him and seeing his program, I understand how.
Late Tuesday Afternoon: I arrived at the Oak Hill supercross track where Wil was still pounding out laps.
Throwing a few whips is a good way to end a long day of riding
After he was done riding I walked over to the outdoor track where the Oldenberg's were out riding. Mitchell and McCoy have made a huge presence on the amateur circuit over the last two year, and by the looks of things will do the same in 2010.
Upon arriving back at Wil's house the first thing you notice is their good taste in cars. Most people think Stewart might have a sweet car collection, but I think the Hahn's might have him beat.
Wednesday morning- After drizzling all night we woke up to a perfectly moistened supercross track, Wil went out early to touch up a few spots on the track. Even with a small amount of supercross experience, I didn't have anything for this track.
I like photos of dead trees so this is my attempt at an artistic shot with a little sx thrown in.
