Last Friday we did a film- and photoshoot with current Grand Prix points leader and MX2 world champion Jeffrey Herlings. Filmers Daan Gerritsen of DG Productions and Nick Janssen, who is currently working on a documentary named “Living for the Weekend” invited JH#84 to Daan’s secret backyard track located in the east of the Netherlands, near the city of Arnhem.
On arrival at the so called DG Compound our local boy Jeffrey was a little surprised and thought he’d be done quick on the BMX sized jumps. His opinion changed soon though and three hours later he was still on the gas and havin’ fun.
Jeffrey brought out his 350 which he bought for himself, specially for those occasions when he doesn’t have access to his regular 250 training machine.
The weather wasn’t the best. Temperatures well below zero celcius and a lot of wind don’t make up for the best pictures, but the H-Bomb was unstoppable and didn’t mind the cold very much.
The day after Jeffrey dominated in both heats at another round for the Dutch Championship in Oldebroek. No problemo for the 18 year old Dutchie who loves the sand tracks.... Let’s get ready for the Valkenswaard GP..!!
