Fort Dodge, Iowa has produced many professional riders in the past years. One of the first to put the town on the map was Chad Pederson. Pederson paved the way for riders like Teddy Maier, Justin Brayton, Gavin Faith, and many others to follow in his foot steps and reach the top level of professional racing.
This weekend I was planning on covering the race at Riverside Raceway both Saturday and Sunday, but due to mother nature the race was cancelled on Sunday. Just when the day looked to be wasted, Jaden Wertz sent him a text to come up to Fort Dodge to the Maier Compound and he headed up to see what this place was all about.
Teddy Maier has an amazing track near the river in Fort Dodge and has been grooming the next generation of rippers from Fort Dodge to help them reach their dreams of going pro. Teddy has been racing in Canada the past few years and has some Canadian Championships under his belt along with an outstanding Arenacross and Supercross career over the years. Clint was able to spend the day with Teddy and Ben Maier, Jaden Wertz, Izaih Clark, Gage Steburg, David Powell, and Cody Rodenborn. Here is a look into what they have going on in the town of Fort Dodge, Iowa.
