AMSOIL® Signs on for Second Consecutive Year as the Official and Exclusive Oil of the Monster Energy Cup
AURORA, Ill. (October 8, 2013) – Feld Motor Sports® announced today that AMSOIL® will once again be the official and exclusive oil of the Monster Energy Cup that will take place at Sam Boyd Stadium on Saturday, October 19.
AMSOIL, the industry leader in synthetic lubrication technology, first began sponsoring motorcycle racing in 1999 and is currently gearing up for the fourth year as the official and exclusive oil of the popular Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, and second year as the title sponsor for AMSOIL Arenacross.
“The Monster Energy Cup has so much momentum surrounding it, and we really feed off the energy it provides,” said Jeremy Meyer, Race Program Manager, AMSOIL. “It really gets AMSOIL ready for the upcoming Supercross and AMSOIL Arenacross seasons, and we get to showcase both our company and our talented field of riders, including guys like Eli Tomac, Wil Hahn and Tyler Bowers.”
In addition to their continued support of the Monster Energy Cup, AMSOIL will step in as the name-in-title sponsor for the “AMSOIL Arch,” formally known as the extremely popular TallaVega turn, which requires riders to take the track halfway up the into the stadium grandstands.
During the pit party festivities, AMSOIL specialists will be on-hand showcasing their industry-leading lubricants and interactive display to thousands of fans. The current AMSOIL product line will also be featured during the live Fox Sports 2 broadcast of the Monster Energy Cup.

The popular announce team of Ralph Sheheen, Jeff Emig and Erin Bates calls the action as the world’s top supercross racers, including Justin Barcia, Ryan Villopoto, Chad Reed, James Stewart and Ryan Dungey, lay it on the line for a shot at a $1 million bonus on a fresh, new track designed by five-time Monster Energy Supercross Champion Ricky Carmichael.
The 2013 Monster Energy Cup features an all-new track design inspired by five-time Monster Energy Supercross Champion Ricky Carmichael that will challenge the best supercross and motocross riders in the world. This one-of-a-kind track will consist of a split start, the famous joker lane, and a section of the track being built into the stands. This lucrative event posts a $250,000 purse with the winner walking away with a $100,000 check, and any rider that wins all three Main Events will take home $1 million.
