Great Ride for Eric Goodson

Red Bud MX Buchanan, MI - Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Regional Qualifier (Mideast Region)
A great weekend of racing for Eric Goodson and his crew. Eric finished 1st in Open Pro Sport, 2nd in 250 A.
Goodson, a native of Connersville, Indiana, has relocated to Tallahassee, Florida where he trains and rides under the watchful eye of Jeannie Carmichael.
Eric suffered a minor set back competing at the Ricky Carmichael amateur supercross race held in Daytona Beach,FL back in early March. Goodson broke his collarbone, forcing him to the sidelines for the spring nationals.
Eric began his quest in qualifying for the Loretta Lynn’s National exactly seven weeks after his injury in Daytona. Goodson had a great start to the qualifying process taking three overall wins in the A and Open Pro classes at Hangtime MX. From there Eric raced two more area qualifiers leading him to the Regional Championship for the Mideast Region held at Red Bud mx track in Buchanan, MI. Eric and his entire crew were pleased with the 1, 2, 5 results earned at Red Bud. This is Eric’s first year competing in the A and Open Prosport classes. Eric plans to continue his hard work on conditioning and consistency preparing for the big race in August.
