Austin Forkner Back, Jett Reynolds Out for Spring Creek

Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Austin Forkner will make his Pro Motocross season debut this weekend at Spring Creek, the team announced.

Forkner has been sidelined since sustaining a torn ACL and damage to his MCL, PCL and meniscus at the opening round of Monster Energy Supercross at Anaheim 1.

It was the latest in a series of setbacks for Forkner, who has had an injury take him out of the last three Supercross seasons early in the campaign.

The team also announced that Jett Reynolds will miss a second straight race due to illness.

Despite placing 15th overall in 250 qualifying on Saturday at round 6 of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Southwick, Jett Reynolds did not line up for the motos with what the team called “suspected food poisoning.”

Due to injury and illness, Reynolds has only competed in four of six rounds in his rookie season.
