Jalek Swoll Hopes To Get Shoulder “Fully 100 Percent for Thunder Valley”

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Jalek Swoll was a race-time decision entering the second round of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross after sustaining a shoulder injury in a heavy crash at the opener at Fox Raceway.

Despite the injury, Swoll was impressive in the first 250 at Hangtown, running up front for a majority of the moto before he cross-rutted and crashed. He would eventually finish the moto in ninth.

Swoll got another good start in the second moto, but according to the team, he crashed on the opening lap and was unable to finish the race due to his shoulder.

Swoll said in a team press release, he hopes to get his shoulder “fully 100 percent for Thunder Valley.”

“This was my first time riding this track and I had a really good start in Moto 1,” Swoll said in a press release. “I was running top-three for most of the race and my fitness and speed felt good but the crash that I had from Pala kind of just beat me down today. My shoulder wasn’t ready to go but we still showed up and put our best foot forward and it kind of gave up on me in the later stages of the day. Trying to get this thing fully 100 percent for Thunder Valley to do the same things. We’re in a good spot, we just have to keep pushing away.”
