After a week off, Monster Energy Supercross is back this weekend for nine at Daytona. And you know what that means: Slaw is back to deliver some flaming hot bold predictions which are typically 99 percent accurate. Hey, Michael Jordan missed a free throw every now and then, right?

*RING RING LEAD SLAW LOCK OF THE WEEK ALERT* Crazy to think that the defending champion has gone two straight weeks without a podium. That changes this weekend. The Real Eli Tomac shows up this weekend and snags a podium. For extra Slaw, he will get second!
Eli is just ummm, well, you see… yeah, he’s just not the same dude he was last year. I have no clue why, but he ain’t.

Cooper “Walking in a Spider” Webb needed to slow down the Roczen train and he did just that last weekend taking his second win of the year. He doubles up this weekend and makes it two-in-a-row!

Have you seen the 250SX West Region entry list? Loaded doggies. I don’t know what is going to happen, so take this with a grain of Slaw, but someone will win the opener this weekend. Stamp it.

Cooper Gets It Done Again
Justin Cooper that is. With Jeremy Martin sidelined due to a shoulder injury, I just don’t see who will challenge Cooper at Daytona. I mean, he’s not even 100 percent and won the West Region opener.
Hunter Podiums
This is a flaming hot bold prediction. Hunter Lawrence has raced three supercross races. Just three. BUT, I think he’ll excel at the more outdoor-sy Daytona track and grab his first career podium.
Hammaker Top Five
Out of all 100 rookies that debuted at O2, I was most impressed with Seth Hammaker. Kid just looked legit and honestly it was quite surprising. I think he’ll do well again this weekend and sneak into the top five.
Tomac Podiums
I know I kind of sort of said I was done with Eli Tomac. But, man, how do you bet against this dude at Daytona? You can’t. For extra Slaw, I think he picks up his first win since round 2.
Barcia Podium
LEAD. SLAW. LOCK. OF. THE. WEEK. BamBam has been super impressive lately. If not for a Vince Friese, he would have four straight top five finishes. That continues this weekend with his fourth podium of the year.
