For much of this off-season, there were a lot of rumors that 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross 450 Champion Zach Osborne may have been forced to hang up the boots due to a back injury, which sidelined him for much of the 2021 season.
Well, it looks like Osborne will return for 2022. According to PulpMX/Racer X’s Steve Matthes, Osborne will be back with Rockstar Energy Husqvarna next year and is also, like Cooper Webb, moving on from Aldon Baker’s Bakers Factory and heading to 83 Compound.
Osborne told Racer X that he’s “super grateful to have the opportunity to make a comeback and be able to race my last year like I always wanted to.”
This is GREAT to hear as it would have sucked to see Osborne not go out on his own terms.
