Ah, damn.
Team Green Kawasaki’s Krystian Janik announced this week that he will miss Loretta Lynn’s this year due to injury. According to his Instagram, Janik suffered a dislocated elbow, as well as a fractured and broke bone at his Loretta Lynn Regional.
Janik will need surgery and will miss Loretta’s.
“Not sure if everyone has heard the news, but two weeks ago at @wildcat_creek_mx during regionals I had a crash which resulted in a dislocated elbow, as well as a fractured and broken bone. Everything was going very well in all of my classes until my last race. Super bummed because I’ve been preparing really hard for Loretta’s but unfortunately won’t be able to make it. I waited to post this because I wanted to get another doctors opinion and it turns out I need surgery. Hopefully I will recover fast and be back on the bike in no time. Thank you to everyone for all the support.”
After clinching the Supermini 2 title at Loretta’s last year, Janik moved up to the B Class and won the 250 B title at the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship.
