Round 4 or 5 of Monster Energy AMA Supercross was held this weekend in Houston. And while there was a TON of great quotes during the press conference and such, we went deeper. And got things riders 100000000 PERCENT DID NOT SAY.
Without further ado, these are things that definitely WERE NOT said by the riders or personnel after the fifth round of the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross Championship, but we all know they were thinking it.
Tom Vialle: “250 Supercross is definitely a lot easier than having to ride the MXGP class. Until it isn’t.”
Haiden Deegan: “250 Supercross is definitely a lot easier than having to race the Futures class.”
Haiden Deegan: “I’m guess I’m still not ready to race them.”
Sand section: “This is my chance to shine!”
Eli Tomac: “Everyone loves it when I get the holeshot.”
Chase Sexton: “Dammit, I saw the MXGP announcement about qualifying winners getting points and figured I’d go balls out for that win.”
Hunter Lawrence: “Anything Jett can do, I can do also. Except Triple Crowns, I can definitely do them better.”
Max Anstie: “I’m a man of few words, so I’d just like to hold up my trophy, smile, and not actually do the interview.”
Aaron Plessinger: “I definitely preferred the race, before the red flag.”
Justin Cooper: “After this result, I’m going to have a word with my fiancé to see what we can do about moving our wedding date.”
