Round 16 of Monster Energy AMA Supercross was held this past weekend in Denver. And while there were a TON of great quotes during the press conference and such, we went deeper. And got things riders 100000000 PERCENT DID NOT SAY.
Without further ado, these are things that definitely WERE NOT said by the riders or personnel after the 16th round of the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross Championship, but we all know they were thinking it.
Honda PR guy: “So I guess we need to get some t-shirts printed now…”
Mr Honda: “Damn… this season is REALLY getting expensive!”
Mr Yamaha: “What the hell just happened?!”
Mr KTM Group: “Can we please find a rider to ride one of our 14 bikes, please?!”
Mr Kawasaki: “I think we need to lower our contingency payout for SLC…”
Mr Suzuki: “What is Supercross?”
Eli Tomac: “I now know why it is called an Achilles heel.”
Jett Lawrence: “Hello! I just won a championship over here!”
