They will tell you that it completely changed the trajectory of their careers. We took them to the top baby! Now we will take you to the top. Sign up for your classes today and see if you can become King or Queen of the Classic.

Team Honda HRC’s Jo Shimoda is heading home to race a round of the D.I.D All Japan Motocross Championship. Shimoda has done this in the past when he went 1-1 at Meihan in 2022 in the 450 class.

Shimoda is set to race at Off Road Village in Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture on September 28-29. He will be racing the new 2025 CRF450R in the 450 class.

“I’m stoked on the opportunity to race in my home country,” Shimoda said. “The fans there show me so much support, and I want to thank them by going back to race as often as I can.”

Shimoda broke his collarbone at Unadilla, but has since posted on Instagram that he’s had a successful surgery and a video insinuating that he’s back on the bike.

Will he make it back in time for the SuperMotocross Playoffs? We’ll keep you posted.
