Nate Thrasher Rules Himself Out for Las Vegas Finale

Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha’s Nate Thrasher has decided not to race the final round of the SMX Playoffs this weekend in Las Vegas.

Thrasher, who sat out nine rounds of the Pro Motocross Championship due to a broken collarbone and bent plate, came back just in time for the playoffs, but it hasn’t gone well.

He’s been having some crashing issues and last weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, he had a big one that took him out for the day. Last night Thrasher went to Instagram to explain that he has caught a sickness and is seeing this as a sign to heal up.

Thrasher finished fifth in the 250SX West Region in 2024 with a win in San Diego. He ended up 24th in the 250 Pro Motocross Championship despite missing all but two of the rounds.

On some personal news, Thrasher and his fiancee Andrea are set to get married this offseason. We wish them the best in this awesome time in their lives. We guess that our invite got lost in the mail though.
