Morning Espresso: AMA Arenacross Reno Round 1 Results

The opening round of the AMA Arenacross Championship took place Friday night in Reno, NV, and MotoConcepts’ Vince Friese made a statement in his debut.

Friese won the Dash For Cash and both main events (and his heat race) to take the overall at round 1. Five-time defending champion Kyle Peters would take second over Michael Hicks.

Friday also saw the debut of the X-Pro electric class which was won by Josh Hill.

Round 2 of the championship will take place Saturday in Reno.
