Dean Wilson Injured in Australia: “Typical Vince S***. I’ve said this millions of times, where’s the punishment?”

Stop me if you’ve heard this before: Vince Friese was involved in an incident with another rider.

This has become common place through the years, and well, it happened again at Round 3 of the FIM World Supercross Championship in Australia on Sunday.

His latest victim? Dean Wilson.

DeanO took to Instagram today and let loose on the latest incident which resulted in Dean having a dislocated shoulder and torn labrum, putting his 2025 season in jeopardy.

Read parts of his full speech below or just watch both vids.

“Well, probably wondering why I’m in a sling, but I’ll get to that. I don’t really want to be making this post cause I tell you what, because it’s really f****** my mantra. I was in a good place but anyways, we’ll start from the beginning. Round 3 of World Supercross so race 1 coming through the pack unfortunately got cross jumped and I had nowhere to go in the air. I crashed and my mate Colt Nichols unfortunately tagged my bike. I got lucky, I escaped it and he didn’t he had to go to the hospital. So I got 14th that race. Next race I rebounded. I holeshot, led for 6 laps made a few mistakes ended up P4. Good riding and then race 3 P4 again and then race 4, SuperFinal coming through the pack trying to get around Vince [Friese] and go around him, pass nice and clean after the whoops. Super clean, I’m moving forward.  Three guys in front of me, he just doesn’t try and turn. Completely blindsides me. Didn’t see it coming once again. There was no build up to this. I haven’t had any beef with him since A1. There was nothing. He just completely f***** drove it into me. People behind me that were in the race said they’ve never seen someone get hit so hard. Anyways, dislocated my shoulder. We’re here in Brisbane at the doctors. Torn my labrum and it’s putting everything in jeopardy as far as the UK and World Supercross.

“I got hit really hard, didn’t see it coming. Didn’t brace for it. Nothing. Cause like I said, guys in front of me and I didn’t see there was even any need for it. Typical Vince shit. And I just think it’s complete f***** bullshit. I’ve said this millions of times, where’s the punishment? Now he’s actually hurt someone. I don’t know what his next goal is to paralyze someone? He never gets penalized for anything he does and I’m just sick of it. “

  1. There has to be video of it out there, hard to imaging with all the cameras, both professional and personal someone did not catch it

  2. I thought I read somewhere that there was a gate mix-up and Vince took another riders spot who made the main and Vince didn’t. But track officials let Vince ride anyway. So in a race he wasn’t even supposed to be in he injured another rider… This guy has been a menace on the track for years. It’s time he goes away.

  3. Vince needs to be punished. Too many altercations to be a fluke. Maybe he just needs to learn how to ride.
