Team announcements continue to roll along as we approach the start of the 2025 Monster Energy Supercross season, and with it, we are getting an idea of which riders will be racing the 250SX West and East Regions.
This is a stark change from years past when we would show up to Anaheim 1 and literally have no clue as to who was racing. This was terrible. You couldn’t preview the year, fans were left in the dark and overall, it’s was just a bad look.
The latest announcement comes today from the Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX Yamaha squad. Their four-rider 250 squad will consist of the returning Coty Schock, Jett Reynolds, and Mark Fineis and newly signed Max Vohland and Devin Simonson.
Schock and Reynolds will contest the West Region, which kicks off Jan. 11 at Anaheim 1, while Vohland, Simonson and Fineis will race the East Region beginning Feb. 8 in Tampa.
A late addition to the team in 2024, Schock enjoyed a career-year with the team, finishing third in 250SX East Region points, despite suffering a broken collarbone early in the year.
After missing all of Monster Energy Supercross in his first year with the team, Reynolds, a nine-time champion at Loretta Lynn’s, was able to piece together a good Pro Motocross season, finishing 18th in points. He returns for a second year with the team.
Another former Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider, Vohland joins the team after missing most of the 2024 season with a hip injury. He will be joined on the East Region by Fineis, who is entering his first season in Monster Energy Supercross in 2025.
