Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing announced its seven-rider 250 team earlier this week, so in this edition of “Most Likely” we’ll take a dive into some pressing questions.
Is Haiden Deegan Most Likely Win a Supercross Title?
That’s a yes for $500, Alex. Going off what we know today as to who is racing West and East, Deegan is the heavy favorite. Depending on where Levi Kitchen goes would be the only thing to dissuade me, but even then, I have Deegan for the championship — his first in Monster Energy Supercross — next year.
Is Another Star Rider Most Likely to Win a Supercross Title?
This comes down to Pierce Brown and Max Anstie, in my humble opinion. Are they both fast enough? Yes. Are they both consistent enough? They haven’t shown it, so I’ll have to say no for now.
Aside From Deegan, Which Rider Is Most Likely to Have The Best Season?
I’ll have to go with Pierce. He’s a veteran. He has the speed and he finally got a win! I think Pierce needed a change and going to one of the best teams in the pits is going to help.
Is Pierce Brown Most Likely To Get a Win in 2025?
I think he gets multiple. Like I said above, this COULD be a breakout year for the Utah native.
Is Cole Davies Most Likely To Finish Inside the Top 7 in Points?
Hmmmm…. I have high hopes for Davies in 2025. The kid is unreal and there is obviously a reason Star fast-tracked him to the pro ranks instead of him racing Futures. I’ll lean toward yes.
Is Dax Bennick Most Likely To Get Multiple Podiums?
Sure, why not. I’m still high on the Dax bandwagon and I think now that he is healthy, we are going to see more of the Dax we saw early in 2024, rather than the latter stages of the season.
