Cameron McAdoo IN For Daytona Supercross

According to a press release sent out by Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki on Wednesday, Cameron McAdoo will race the third round of the 250SX East Region this Saturday in Daytona.

At the previous round in Detroit earlier this month, McAdoo went down hard in the whoops late in the 250SX main event that resulted in a red flag and left him with “black eye and some broken teeth.”

Despite the crash, McAdoo, who entered the season with a torn ACL, will race this weekend.

Iain Southwell, Team Manager: “We’ve had a good week testing with Cam in California and getting his motor and suspension settings dialed in. Seth and Levi are in Florida and have done their own testing, and both are looking fast. Daytona is always an interesting race because you have to take already-stiff supercross suspension and make it stiffer due to the high-speed sections at Daytona. Cameron and Seth have done well at Daytona in the past, and even though it’s Levi’s first trip there, he’s raced the SMX events, which have a similar crossover feel.”

After two rounds, McAdoo is currently 11th in points, sitting 27 behind Max Anstie.
