It’s been a while since we’ve seen the FIM World Supercross Championship. Round 1 was way back on July 1 in England. Since that time, the series has new investors, and have reduced the schedule to just three rounds in 2023.
The second round is this weekend in Abu Dhabi and Ken Roczen is looking to stretch his points lead over Joey Savatgy and Vince Friese in the 450 division, while Shane McElrath leads Max Anstie by just three in the 250 Class.
Third in points is Enzo Lopes, but he is not on the entry list. Lopes recently left the ClubMX Yamaha team, which he was contracted to ride WSX with, for Monster Energy/Star Racing Yamaha and will not race this weekend.
