Sweet baby Jesus was this morning was on absolute fire with some of the best races of the week thus far going down all before 9 a.m.

The morning started off with the stacked 450 Pro Sport class at 7:30 a.m. sharp and Levi Kitchen continued his dominance by taking the win in convincing fashion. That makes it four-for-four-4 for the SX portion of the week. Can he go 8-8? Rounding out the podium was Kaeden Amerine in second and Brandon Scharer in third.

125 B/C was absolutely dominated by Evan Ferry. Honestly, there really isn’t much more to say.

450 B belonged to Nicolas Romano, as he led start to finish. Welcome to big bikes Talon Hawkins, who grabbed a very solid second place with Luca Maralisi taking third. Romano mentioned on the podium about his lack of titles in the recent years at AMA major events and you could tell he was beyond psyched on the result. Towers wasn’t able to get the start he needed and was working through the pack the entire race. This group is going to be real fun to watch for the rest of the week on the motocross track.

Romano celebrating his title this morning.

Now onto what could be the race/class of the week. Superemini 2 (see this morning’s espresso for the breakdown of the class). None of the hitters got good start as Casey Cochran and Haiden Deegan had to work through the pack and Krystian Janik was caught up in a first turn crash. Cochran passed for the lead around mid-way and seemed to have it all under control until Deegan caught fire and ultimately caught Cochran. They diced it up with two laps to go, then on the final lap Deegan seemed to have made a pass stick until he slid out coming out of the corner before the sand sweeper which allowed Cochran to jump past him for the lead.

Deegan and Cochran had a huge battle in Supermini 2.

Then Deegan SENT it into the sweeper pushing Cochran wide, taking the lead away from him. Cochran reeled him back in before the last corner and proceeded to punt Deegan out of the way taking the win. The two exchanged words after the race which personally was awesome to see. The kids left it ALL out on the track. #makerivaleriesgreatagain

If this is any sign of what is to come for the rest of the week we are in for a real treat.

We met Jeff sleeping in a tent down the street from Loretta Lynn's... with his computer. At that point, we knew he would fit in with us. Then, he then drank all the white claw flavors none of us liked, and that's when we knew it was meant to be. Jeff officially became part of the crew.
We're terrible at asking questions, so we're not exactly sure what Jeff does for a living, but he loves petting his cats and dog, growing his beard, and living in a cornfield in Michigan. Jeff also likes to wear cycling glasses while driving his car and using his cameras. We like Jeff.
