One of the bigger talking points leaving round 4 of Monster Energy AMA Supercross at Anaheim 2 on Saturday night was the incident with Jason Anderson and Ken Roczen in the 450 main event.
You’ve probably seen the pass, but if not, you can catch it below. With around 15 min to go in the main event, Anderson dove to the inside of Roczen in the sand section with the two making contact and sending Kenny to the ground. Anderson would take the lead, but went on to finish second behind Eli Tomac. Meanwhile, Roczen was only able to make it back to 13th.
As always, I have no real thoughts on this. I’m sure you do, and you can leave them in the comments.
Anyway, Anderson was asked about the pass in the post-race press conference and here is what he had to say…
“I went on the inside of him in the sand.. I went for it and it ended up not so well. I don’t want to be that guy, but I’m that guy tonight. I’ve gotta maybe not look at the Instagram too much because we’re going to be getting some heat.”
