A whole lot of injury news to update for round 4 of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross at RedBud on Friday.
Let’s start in the 450 Class. Twisted Tea/HEP Motorsports Suzuki’s Max Anstie is a go for RedBud 1. Anstie went down hard in the second 450 moto at Ironman and was thought to have broken his jaw. He underwent scans last Saturday and they came back negative. He’s beat up but will race on Friday.
The 250 Class will see the return of three riders. Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki fill-in Darian Sanayei returns to action after his shoulder popped out at the opener at Loretta’s. Also back is Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Jalek Swoll, who has missed the last two rounds due to a mild concussion sustained at Loretta Lynn’s 1.
Making his season debut on Friday is Monster Energy/Star Racing Yamaha’s Ty Masterpool. The second-year pro missed the first three rounds due to a broken leg suffered in June. Masterpool finished 11th overall in his rookie season a year ago.
