This past summer I noticed a lot of activity on Slay’s social with some baller camera equipment. I know the dude is constantly filming so I assumed it was for another Slayground (I wasn’t wrong) but some of these clips were different from the standard and all had the same theme, a tribute to Juice Wrld.
Well, earlier this week we finally got the answer and the banger of a video we were waiting for in the form of a posthumous music video for Juice Wrld’s “Conversations,” arguably one of the biggest hits from his posthumous album last year titled Legends Never Die.
It features Slay himself, Vicki Golden, Bilko and Taka Higashino absolutely shredding with legendary FPV drone pilot Johnny FPV at the controls for this incredible footage.
This is the part where our sport (for the 999th attempt) is about to transcend the small industry it houses itself in and go to the stratosphere. Mark my words, this will be one of the most viewed moto videos we ever see on the choob.
You see, Juice transcended hip hop when he hit the scene in 2017. It just hit different. Now, I’ll be honest, the music isn’t for everyone, kind of like Slaw. Either you get it, or you don’t, but he spoke to a generation of kids who felt lost or misunderstood in the new social media era we are now accustom too. Nirvana-esq if you will.
He spoke to those dealing with mental illnesses, addiction and helped millions of fans through some of those darkest points of their life, myself included. His music is beautiful yet painfully honest, and you can’t help but respect it. His impact on the culture has never been bigger and it’s not going away any time soon.
Juice, thank you for this one. #Legendsneverdie
