We love our friends at Yamaha. They just do things the right way and they make everything fun. Don’t you dare even question that statement before you ride a 2024 YZ! So, when they announced that they had created a bLU cRU Invitational Race Series we were very excited, and now the first race is THIS WEEKEND (May 17-19) at Glen Helen!
For those of you unfamiliar with this new event, don’t worry, WE’VE got you covered. The first thing that you must do is make sure that you have a Yamaha motorcycle to race. This is a Yamaha only event open to all skill levels and people from 4-60. You must also be a bLU cRU member, but don’t worry, you can easily sign up for that here if you are not yet.
Again, ALL RIDERS MUST BE ON A YAMAHA MOTORCYCLE (NO EXCEPTIONS)!
The race weekend will be a two day event with three motos for each class. Also, the weekend will be filled with activities, prizes, exclusive gifts, and special guests.
Also, as an added bonus, on Friday (May 17) the event will host a Training Camp. Here is your chance for one-on-one coaching with a legendary cast featuring Ryan Villopoto, Doug Dubach, and Damon Bradshaw. Spaces are limited for the training camp, so if you want a spot then hurry over and click the box on the registration page when signing up!
If you can’t make it this weekend to Glen Helen, then don’t worry.
The bLU cRU Invitational has two more rounds in the series and you can pre-register by clicking the links below:
Washougal, WA on June 21st-23rd
And, for the first-time ever, these events will be qualifying 3 bLU cRU racers, a YZ65, YZ85 and YZ125 rider, to participate in the Yamaha SuperFinale at this year’s Motocross of Nations (MXoN) in the U.K. This is a super-exciting, once in a lifetime opportunity that you don’t want you to miss.
