To say it’s been a rough month or so for Cameron McAdoo would be a massive understatement. We all remember his rough end to the Monster Energy Supercross season, which included one of the craziest crashes ever!
Things got worse at the opening round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Saturday at Fox Raceway, when McAdoo went down in the second 250 moto.
Today, McAdoo confirmed his MRI results, which will sideline him for the foreseeable future.
“Unfortunately on Saturday in Moto 2 I came together with another rider and ended up landing with my knee straight out,” he wrote in part. “I knew right away that something wasn’t right. I got the results back today and my ACL pulled and fractured the top of my Tibia bone off. I will be getting it fixed next week and begin the process of working to get back healthy.”
The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki team is already without Jordon Smith, who is out for the year with a shoulder injury.
Below is McAdoo’s full post.
