Twitter is an absolute dumpster fire most of the time, but every once in a while, it produces golden moments. One of those happened today.
In January, two-time Monster Energy Supercross Champion Chad Reed put out a tweet about the first round. The tweet was cool and all, but it gets much better.
In the comments, a user told Chad they could see a bunch of dudes winning races, and according to the user even 10! Which, yeah, that’s absolutely bonkers.
Absolutely Chad. Tomac. Webb. Musquin. Roczen. Osborne. Sexton. Barcia. Adam. Mookie. Anderson. There is your 10. Any one of those have the speed and talent to win a race this year. You know that. Come on.

Chad was having none of it and bet the person $100 and to which they agreed and even had the gumption to add “Can’t wait to give my address to get a check from Chad Reed.” Which, I mean, hell yeah, Slaw would love to be getting checks from Reed too.
I think I got it. Might not reach 10 but 6 or 7 diff winners I have a good chance. Can’t wait to give my address to get a check from Chad Reed. Might even frame it. Hahaha.

Well, lo and behold, the season only had five winners—Cooper Webb, Ken Roczen, Eli Tomac, Justin Barcia and Marvin Musquin. You would think Chad would have forgotten about the measly bet and YOU WOULD BE DEAD WRONG.
THIS IS THE CONTENT SLAW IS HERE FOR.
