Coty Schock Injured in Practice Crash

The Summer of Schock has been put on hold.

Coty Schock announced on Instagram today (Monday) that he suffered a broken wrist practicing today and is out for the foreseeable future.

“Hate to see it 🙃 Practice crash today @clubmx led to a broken wrist. Surgery this week and look forward to getting back to it at some point👊🏻 Not ideal…”

Schock went on to say that he is scheduled for surgery this week and that he doesn’t know yet when he will be able to return to racing.

After being let go by Phoenix Honda late into the offseason last winter, Schock made the move to ClubMX and was signed to the Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX Yamaha team where he went on to have a career year and finish third in the 250SX East Region points. ClubMX awarded him with a new three-year deal and a chance to ride the 250 Class in the Pro Motocross Championship.

Through four rounds of the championship, Schock sits 14th in points.
