We’re gearing up for our annual Vurbmoto Classic at NXT LVL 101 in South Carolina on September 13-15. It’s our biggest race of the year. If you don’t believe us, just ask riders like Jo Shimoda, Haiden Deegan, Adam Cianciarulo, Justin Barcia, Justin Cooper, Cooper Webb, among others what this race meant to them. They will tell you that it completely changed the trajectory of their careers. We took them to the top baby! Now we will take you to the top. Sign up for your classes today and see if you can become King or Queen of the Classic.
Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha’s Daxton Bennick will be sitting out all three rounds of the upcoming SuperMotocross Playoffs.
Yamaha made the announcement today on Instagram that Bennick has been dealing with some health issues that have basically prevented him from riding to the best of his abilities.
“I have been dealing with some health issues for the last month or so and haven’t felt like myself at all lately,” Bennick said. “Unfortunately, I will be missing the SMX Finals, but it’s important we put my health first so I can perform at my best for the 2025 Supercross season. I’ve got a great team behind me and we will be back stronger.”
This was Bennick’s first official season as a professional. He finished ninth in the 250SX East Region Championship with one podium and seven top ten finishes. Bennick finished 17th in the 250 Pro Motocross Championship with his best finish an 11th overall at RedBud.
Bennick held a 14th seed heading into the SMX Playoffs.
We’ll keep you posted on who is in and who is out as we get closer to the opening round of the playoffs next weekend in North Carolina.
