Lots of injury news to cover prior to the final round of the FIM World Supercross Championship in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. (Yes, you read that right. The race takes place on Wednesday.)
While he was able to power through his shoulder injury last weekend at the final round of the Australian Supercross Championship, Fire Power Honda’s Dean Wilson is out for the final round of World Supercross. DeanO sustained the injury at the previous round in Australia due to getting taken out by Vince Friese.
Australian Aaron Tanti will replace Wilson at the final round.
In addition, Pipes Motorsports’ Colt Nichols is also out due to a shoulder injury after a big crash in Australia. French rider Thomas Ramette will replace Nichols.
And finally, the one, the only, Phil Nicoletti IS IN for the final round. He will replace Kaleb Barham on the CDR Yamaha team after Barham dislocated his wrist in Australia. Phil will race the SX2 class.
