Our OG buddy Dean Wilson has been in the news quite a bit lately. You see, for a guy who claims it’s his last season, well it doesn’t exactly seem that way. Dean-O came back from injury for the last bit of supercross, claimed he didn’t want a retirement spot at the Salt Lake City press conference, and chose to race Fox Raceway out of his truck.
Yep, this man is down bad to race in 2025.
Dean-O decided last minute to race Fox Raceway, which is what everyone wanted anyway. He went 11-16 for 14th overall on the day…out of his own truck!
I made my feelings known about what I want Dean-O to do the rest of this summer and he liked it, so I think we have a chance here boys and girls!
Look, I know his knees are held together by two rubberbands and a paper clip, but I want to see Dean-O race the entire series now! I know deep down he wants to as well. He basically came off the couch and almost put a top ten finish in.
On top of that, he had a TON of sponsorship money from Pulp Hockey’s Steve Matthes and Team Fried’s Jason Anderson. So, with this type of money rolling in, Dean’s going to need a Brink’s truck if he wants to race the other nine nationals this summer. (He can’t race Hangtown because he’s already committed to the Manjimup 15000 in Australia this weekend.)
Before I go, click over to slide #5, and tell me how lucky both Jett and Dean-O got when their lines came together. Impressive save!
C’mon Dean-O, with no prep you almost finished in the top ten in a moto and finished top 15 with no problem…out of your truck. At least race a few more…okay?
Sincerely,
Your Friends at Vurbmoto.
