Triumph Factory Racing’s Evan Ferry made his professional debut on Saturday night in Detroit. He made the main event by winning the Last Chance Qualifier.
Unfortunately off of the start in the Main Event, Ferry was collected in the massive first turn pile up . He was on the outside of the turn when the riders on the inside of him pushed him off of the track and into the wall. In the replay below you’ll see his helmet hit the wall first.
Ferry finished 22nd on the night and provided this update on his Instagram on Sunday afternoon.
We’re glad to hear that he is going to be okay and make round two in Arlington.

God Bless You 🙏😇👍
What a way to start the year! Just bad luck. Round 2 will be much better.
Where was Joey Savatchy?
@Denny – he isn’t allowed to race 250SX. He’ll be starting during MX.
