We made it, folks. Friday is title day here at Freestone with dreams coming true while others were dashed on the beautiful Texas landscape that is the Miller Ranch. The races clicked off clicked off without a hitch and we would even finish a little early!
Who Runs The World?
Girls, well Women in this case. The Women’s class has seen two break away stars in Katie Benson and Tayler Allred winning almost everything they have entered. This time there could only be one victor. Benson came into moto 2 with a moto win while Allred needed to capture the win to secure an overall victory. Allred would get the start she needed and checked out early while Benson had some work to do trying to come through Mikayla Nielsen and company but quickly made the passes and started the hunt for the lead. Allred would prove to be a touch out of reach as she took the moto win and the overall. Benson would capture 2nd while Nielsen held on for 3rd place.

Closing out the day was Schoolboy 2 and the Nick Romano show. After already securing titles in 250B and 450B he looked to add another title to his shelf and he did just that going 1-1. Romano has been on fire and is looking to carry that swag into Loretta Lynn’s here in a few short months. It didn’t come easy in this moto as Preston Boespflug grabbed the start and tried to check out early on but would hold on for 2nd. Parker Ross also turned some heads taking 3rd. Caden Braswell bounced back after a crash in moto 1 to finish 4th and Ben Garib would round out the top 5.
