Grading Phil Nicoletti’s Farewell Posts

Despite all of his success on other media platforms, like Pulp Hockey, Phil Nicoletti is an OG Vurb guy. Our guy Chili Dog Wes has known him for over twenty some odd years. It’s incredible.

I wanted to do something special for Phil every week as he makes his final rounds this summer in the Pro Motocross Championship. Let’s grade his Instagram posts, shall we? IF he was ever holding back before on those, (which we highly doubt) then he’s going to really cut loose on them now. He’s got nothing to lose.

Let’s kick this off with his Fox Raceway post:

Honesty: A+. I feel like Phil is going to get all A’s in this category. Phil seemed to have some good vibes in this post because he’s happy with his speed. He also knows there is work to be done at the start of the second moto. He clearly states that this is his least favorite national of the year. Let’s go down to the next category to discuss the rest of the honesty.

Savagery: A+ He called Fox Raceway a poop box and he also said that he’s happy that he never has to race there again. IF this is how we’re starting the year off, just imagine the truth that will be pouring out of him this summer. He’ll be mad for no reason here soon when the weather changes to feel like the surface of the sun.

Fun: F for fun. We don’t know if Phil ever has fun, unless it’s his “Evening wine time”. Also, he doesn’t like riding this track, so it was a no good fun having day.

Fox Raceway Results: A. 9-9 for 10th overall. We would have given him an A+, but only Phil would go 9-9 for 10th.

Overall: A. It was a great start to the season for Phil. He was consistent and was up front in the second moto. We have good vibes about how he’s going to finish later on in the summer as well at tracks that he actually likes going to.

It was a great opening round for Phil. He surpassed my expectations and it’s a great building block. It looks like he hasn’t missed a beat from the end of last year’s nationals. This is definitely going to be the summer of Phil. I can’t wait to see what he has to say about Hangtown!
