Before I get into these stats, let me give a shoutout to the FELD PR team that sends out a pretty cool feature every week that features a ton of stats and nuggets for the upcoming round of Monster Energy AMA Supercross.
Let me also apologize for not sharing some of this before. I have been selfish and held them for myself. My bad. I will do better and drop some every week going forward.
We’ve all been soaking in the Ken Roczen red plate love this week. Just go scroll our IG or watch this if you want some more on Ken.
Lost in all this is this is also a massive week for Suzuki and the Pipes Motorsports Group. Suzuki gets its fair share of criticism, but man, hard to disagree that they obviously have a machine that can take you to the top. And for Pipes, what a journey from privateer to one of the best teams in the pits. Bravo all around.
Now to the meat of this article.
Ken Roczen/Suzuki Historical Supercross Stats
- The podium at Anaheim 2 was the 71st of Roczen’s career
- This is the first time he’s held the red plates since 2022 after he won the season opener
- This is the first time since 2015 that Suzuki has held the red plates in 450SX in Monster Energy AMA Supercross when Roczen rode for RCH Suzuki. It has been 169 450SX Class rounds between Suzuki holding the red plate
- The last time they held it in the 250 Class was with Justin Hill at Anaheim 1 in 2018, where he was the defending champion
- A2 marked Roczen’s 150th career 450SX Class start
Some amazing, amazing stats behind Roczen, Suzuki and the 450 points lead.
