If like Slaw you were watching the 450 main on Saturday from Atlanta 1 and were wondering what in the actual **** happened between Max Anstie and Vince Friese, you are not alone.
The NBC cameras caught the tail-end of the crash and just showed Friese and Anstie getting medical attention.
Well, the Twisted Tea/HEP Suzuki team posted footage of the crash and it’s pretty gnarly.
According to his Instagram, Anstie is okay and plans on racing tomorrow:
“Like Rocky says “it’s not about how hard you can hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward” ????
The Main event didn’t go to plan but after being checked out by the docs at the track I’m as alright as I can be ???? doing all the recovery I can to be feeling good for Tuesday ????????
Progress again with my riding and team @hepmotorsports feeling better and more comfortable with SX every lap I get under my belt.
Step by step ????”
Early report on Friese is that he sustained some broken ribs and is out for the rest of the Atlanta rounds.
