AMA Arenacross is so back and its thanks in large part to a Mister Vince Friese. Love him or hate him, Vince is going to have you talking.
And, right now, with no other major series going on, people are talking about AMA Arenacross.
Arenacross is Vince Friese. Bar banging, some questionable moves, drama. The pair just fit.
Well, over the weekend in Boise, of course Vince was being talked about.
You can watch the “incident” below between Friese and Robbie Wageman and judge for yourself, but yeah, this is Arenacross…
And while I never weigh in on such topics, I’ll leave it to former AX Lites champ himself Daniel Blair to say what I basically think:
One guy I would not want on my bad side is Vince and following the race Vince doused this “incident” in gasoline, calling Robbie “soft”.
“It’s crazy. I thought this was Arenacross, man,” he said. “I barley bumped the guy and he’s kind of a little guy on a big bike so I guess he fell down. But barley touched him. Then he came back as a lapper and tried wiping me out a couple times which is crazy and I got to think that these guys will do something about that. I’m all for banging bars but when you’re a lap down and just out there to wipe the guy out is crazy. So, yeah, this is Arenacross racing… man, you saw umm what Ryan [Breece] and Kyle [Peters] had going on last night. This was nothing compared to that. It’s a little bump and run and yeah, I guess the guy is soft.
“We got more racing to do. If you didn’t like the move I made, come at me at the next race. So if he wants to play that game, let’s go, and, let’s see how it ends for him.”
THIS IS WHAT WE KNOW AND LOVE about Arenacross and I’m here for all of it.
