It’s hard to relate to pro riders. They are super fast. Slaw, on the other hand, is not.
They are super fit. Slaw, on the other hand, is not.
They have massive social followings. Slaw, on the other hand, has less than 70 Twitter followers.
See what I’m getting at here?
Anyway, I now can completely relate to a pro rider.
Adam Cianciarulo was on the PulpMX Show on Monday and the topic of riding at James Stewart’s Compound was brought up (Side note: AC and Chase Sexton have both been riding there and Stew has been helping Sexton) and of course AC had the best story.
“I was riding like a complete d*** out there. Chase [Sexton] had to be putting six seconds a lap on me. Of course Stew is the only one out on top of the jump. And I’m thinking to myself ‘My god, what are you doing to yourself. Just go home.’”
I have never related to a pro rider more in my life! Can you imagine JAMES “FING” STEWART watching you ride? I would be a complete mess.
