Amateur prospect Jadon Cooper has found a home to start making that transition from amatuer to pro for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
The Texan has signed with EBR Performance, which is a ‘Husqvarna Racing and Development Team’, and he will compete in 250SX Futures and AMA Arenacross.
Here is the official press release from the team:
EBR Performance “SETS THE STAGE for 2025 AMA Arenacross and SX Futures” Signing Jadon Cooper
(League City, TX.) EBR Performance is proud to announce the signing of Jadon Cooper through 2026 to our Husqvarna Racing & Development Team. Cooper will lead the team contesting the AMA Arenacross Championships aboard the all new FC 350 HUSQVARNA for 2025. He will also make his debut competing in AMA Monster Energy SX Futures Championships for 2025 on his EBR Factory Level Engine & Suspension FC 250 HUSQVARNA powered by Bills Pipes. EBR will be adding a team rider to join Cooper to contest both championships.
“AMA Arenacross and SX Futures Championships are very important to EBR’s progression and development. EBR has been building engines and suspension for 27 years with great success and we are enthusiastic about growing this program and representing HUSQVARNA in AMA Arenacross and SX Futures Championships, we anticipate great things as we all work together.” Josh Rogers, EBR Performance.
Jadon Cooper the speedster from Baytown, Texas is strong, super-fast, talented and proven, winning the 2023 AMA Loretta Lynn’s 450B Championship. He is currently preparing and training aboard an FC 350 HUSQVARNA to make a return to Loretta Lynn’s after intense off-season training. Cooper will be training and honing his supercross skillsets with Kevin Windham at FARM-14 setting his sights on being a strong contender for the championships.
“I’m Very excited to work with Jadon. Hard worker, great attitude and trending upward. Pumped he’s part of our program.” Daniel Blair, Husqvarna Amateur Racing Manager.
Jadon Cooper, EBR Ajax Husqvarna Racing & Development Team “I’m honored to represent HUSQVARNA in AMA Arenacross and SX Futures.” Jadon Cooper.
It’s awesome to see that teams are investing in riders as they make the transition from amateur to pro. Instead of jumping directly into the deep end of Monster Energy Supercross and the Pro Motocross Championship, Jadon will now have a two year development window to test his skills in the 250SX Futures Program as well as the AMA Arenacross Championship, both very competitive entities.
