A penalty in the final race of the night on Saturday at Anaheim 2 knocked Jason Anderson off the podium.
After winning the second race of the 450SX Triple Crown, Anderson crashed on the opening lap of the third and final race.
According to the AMA following the race, Anderson gained an advantage while off the track and was docked one position, which meant he was knocked from seventh to eighth in the final main.
With his penalty, that meant Anderson tied Eli Tomac and Aaron Plessinger. With the tiebreaker being the better final race, Anderson fell off the podium.
