Jason Anderson Receives Written Warning for Incident with Justin Barcia at Arlington Supercross

The AMA has released their post-race penalty report following round 7 of the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship in Arlington, TX, last Saturday and it was noted that Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jason Anderson had received a “written warning” for “overly aggressive racing” in regard to his incident with Rockstar Energy GasGas’ Justin Barcia in the second 450SX main event.

You can watch the incident below:

According to the AMA rulebook, if a second incident were to occur with Anderson during the season, he would be docked five points and receive a fine.

Last year Anderson was fined following an incident with Jett Lawrence in San Diego and was issued a written warning for his incident with Hunter Lawrence in Salt Lake City.

  1. I like Jason Anderson, but he needs to stop acting like a child who can’t share the track. It’s not all his, he needs to share.
