Rick Ware Racing’s Joey Savatgy’s run of six consecutive top tens to begin the season ended in Arlington last Saturday night at round 7 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship.
Savatgy injured his wrist in the first race of the night and was unable to line up for the following two races.
Good news in the Jo Dawg camp, though. He confirmed on IG that nothing is broken and he will try and race this weekend at Daytona.
“Well, good news. Nothing broken! Just banged up. Very disappointed in myself, last lap of the first main I accidentally hit my back brake on the face of a jump and framed the jump front wheel first. I’ll do my best to be ready for this weekend.”
Despite scoring just three points at Arlington, Savatgy still sits ninth in 450SX points through seven rounds.
