The AMA has dished out a pair of penalties to Justin Barcia and Justin Bogle following a pair of incidents last night in the 450 main event in San Diego.
The AMA docked Barcia one position pushing him from eighth to ninth and they disqualified Bogle.
The second indecent was caught by the TV cameras and came late in the race when Barcia was trying to pass Bogle, who was a lap down. They came together with Barcia going off the track and down.
You can see it around the 2 minute 4 second mark below:
According to Racer X’s Kellen Brauer there was another incident earlier in the race that was not caught.
Barcia, who entered the night with the points lead after back-to-back third place finishes, is currently fourth in points, three back of Eli Tomac.
