Justin Barcia Showed Up to the Weston Beach Race and Finished 7th on a Stock Bike

There are three races you couldn’t pay me to sign up for: Erzberg Rodeo, the Blackwater 500 and the Weston Beach Race.

What is the Weston Beach Race? Pure FING insanity is what it is. A bunch of blokes show up to a beach in the UK and just go balls out.

This is how the series website describes it: “Picture this: a mammoth 6-mile circuit winding its way through the picturesque beachscape, challenging the most fearless riders on the planet. But that’s not all! The race kicks off in style with a famous 2km straight that’ll leave you breathless. It’s the kind of spectacle that legends are made of.”

Nope, nothing picturesque about this. Just pure insanity that I want no part of.

Well, Justin Barcia apparently did (side note: I mean this is right up BamBam’s ally am I right?) as he showed up on a bone stock bike and finished 7th overall.

“So amazing here at Weston Beach Race. Checked a few sections out after the race today, wow it looks mega. Broke in an off-the-showroom-floor GASGAS 350 thanks to SC Sporthomes and Marsh Powersports for sorting it out! Gonna line up tomorrow with the boys…we won’t be competing for the win this year, just going to do a few laps, enjoy it, and have some fun before heading back to the States to get back to business. I will definitely be back in the future with a bike set up properly to give the 3-hour race a fair shot.”

That is straight madness. Nice work Bam!
