Welp, it’s safe to say that the Jason Anderson/Jett Lawrence beef is here to stay…and now we’ve added Hunter Lawrence to the mix as well.

Early in the Salt Lake City Main Event on Saturday night, Anderson took Hunter high in the bowl turn after the whoops and made some contact with him, sending the HRC Honda rider to the ground. At the time the two were battling for fourth, but this would abruptly ruin Hunter’s race with the front of the pack.

That wasn’t the end of the festivities. When Anderson came around to lap Hunter, Hunter made a deliberate move to make contact with Anderson. Anderson did not fall, but it was enough to separate him from Webb, who he was closing in on for a potential podium position.

As of Monday morning, no fines or penalties have been reported, BUT don’t you worry, they are coming.

Jett was asked in the press conference about having to make a pass on Anderson during the race (since they didn’t show it on TV). Jett then made a mistake, after the pass, allowing Anderson back by. Jett didn’t mince words about how he felt.

“I think that he just forgot that there were two Lawrence brothers out there and he did it right in front of one of the other Lawrences,” Jett said. “Yeah, guys like them, they just need a hit in the mouth sometimes. Thankfully the mistake kind of worked out, I was like ‘Oh, no! Mistake!’ Then I was like, ‘Oh, no…’ (Jett motioned ‘go around me’ here). So, that helped me not get my stuff rocked, but yeah, it is what it is.”

On Instagram last night, Anderson…I don’t even know how to explain this…he’s just Jason Anderson. At this point you either like him or dislike him, but the guy has never been fake, nor has he ever sugarcoated anything.

Anderson is basically saying that he’s tried to show you who he actually is as a person over the course of his career. He sees the comments and things that are said about him online and he can see that no matter what he does, he will never make everyone happy. So, he’s just going to continue to live his life and race dirt bikes for a living.

So, to sum all of this up, the Lawrence camp and the Andersons will not be exchanging Christmas cards in seven months. When the penalty report gets released we will let you know the latest on this situation.

One thing that is for sure, is that this situation made the Salt Lake City finale spicier and to be honest, we’re here for it.

  1. Too bad Anderson can’t man up and realize he’s not in the same league. Just ride fair quit riding dirty and man up. Grow up. Anderson. You have a family and are well ?? A grown man.?? Be the example.

  2. Not in the same league because he’s actually got a championship under his belt? Oh you must mean because he’s not the rookie? Oh wait, you mean not in the same league because he realizes that rubbing is racing?

I’m not sure that the fans want the Hunter Lawrence League of non-champion rookies who don’t like to get a live tap now and then.

When you get hit you get back on the bike and then you catch them and hit them back. You don’t fail boat around the track till you get lapped and then do it.

  3. If everyone rides like Anderson then it’s smash up derby time, sure entertaining but it would be anarchy and not the skilled sport we all love.

  4. So true Ryan, Everyone is on this Lawrence kick and God forbid anyone block passes them and touches them. Just like when Jet went wide in the turn but cut it short and got Bammed by Bam Bam.. They would have never made it when Barcia first hit the scene. Do they really want to piss Anderson off??? Be tough racing with 21 guys and only 1 person likes you and that’s your brother. I mean Deegan came in dirty as hell and everyone praised him for it. Anderson ran him high like he’s supposed to do but the Lawrence Brothers think they have the right away and Hunter caused his own wreck. When you get ran high you only have 2 choices, tap the brake or eat the dirt. Hunter chose to eat the dirt, and evidently didn’t like how it tasted. He’s a rookie in the 450 class, you don’t retaliate on a veteran rider as a rookie. You take it and go on and when next year comes along, it’s fair game. If they do another special on how hard the Lawrence family had it while trying to make it, im probably gonna start watching bowling on Saturday nts. No shit, you sell everything you have and move to America and try to become pro, that’s a no Brainer and the plot to a Lifetime movie. Give me a break,

  5. Hey you stupid mac fucks!!!! Lawrence Bros are fucking KING!!! Aussie Aussie Oi Oi don’t fuck with boys from down under go you good things you fucking ROCK

  6. Anyone bashing j bone is a casual..
    You people don’t know..
    Just admit it..
