Monster Energy/Star Racing Yamaha rookie Levi Kitchen announced on Instagram today that he recently broke his scapula and did “minor damage” to his rotator cuff in a crash.
According to Kitchen, everything is healing fine and he hopes to make his Monster Energy Supercross debut at the 250SX East Region opener.
“Just a little update for everyone. I had a little crash almost 3 weeks ago and ended up breaking my scapula and doing minor damage to my rotator cuff. Everything looks to be healing well and I’m hoping to be on the bike in a few weeks and be ready for east coast! Until then you’ll find me putting in hours on a stationary🥴😅 #bugsdown”
After winning the Horizon Award at Loretta’s, Kitchen made his Lucas Oil Pro Motocross debut with Star Racing at RedBud. The Washington native raced the last six rounds of the championship with his best finish coming at Unadilla where he took eighth overall.
