Max Anstie and Firepower Honda Part Ways | Anstie Expected to Make Debut With Star Racing Per Steve Matthes

Max Anstie and Firepower Honda have parted ways. The Firepower Honda Team has put out a post on their Instagram congratulating Anstie on their success together over the years.

Talks of Anstie signing with Star Racing have been circulating for a couple of months now and apparently he’s going to make his debut on his new bLU cRU at Southwick per PulpMX’s Steve Matthes.

Star Racing continues to add riders. Cole Davies is rumored to be signing to the team as well after his split with the TLD GasGas team. This is probably number 86 or 87 at this point right? (Does that joke ever get old?) It’s also interesting to note that in the history of the sport it’s not too common to see riders switch teams midseason.

Anstie has accomplished a lot during his time with Firepower Honda. He’s won main events, been on the podium, and has even held the red plate. It was a successful run for the seasoned veteran from England.

We’ll be on the lookout for a press release from Star Racing Yamaha…we’re still awaiting the Cole Davies news…
