Morning Espresso: A Look at the World Supercross Canadian GP Track

Welcome to Morning Espresso, an awesome piece presented by MotoSport.com. Go check out RDRCO (pronounced “rider-co”) as the company’s exclusive riding gear. This new gear line offers an affordable option for weekend riders and the casual racer.

To say the FIM World Championship has been a bit of a roller coaster ride since launch would be a vast understatement. Recapping it all would be a novel. But, the train continues to roll along under new ownership and will kick off its season at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada, on October 26.

The season is only four rounds, with an Australian double-header at HBF Park on Nov. 23-24 serving as rounds 3 and 4 before the series closes out in Abu Dhabi at Etihad Arena on Dec. 4.

Ahead of the opener, we got a first look at the track map for the opening round and I must say: it looks fine. A lot of WSX has been more Arenacross-type tracks, but this, this I’m fine with.

It has a 12 whoop section, a long layout with multiple rhythm sections and with Ken Roczen, Eli Tomac, Joey Savatgy and more onboard to race, I have to say: I’m intrigued what the new ownership will bring to the table.
