After a week off, Slaw IS BACK to bring you some quick news and videos and cool stuff from around the world of racing.
Craig/Ferrandis Updates
It was a tough night for the Monster Energy/Star Racing Yamaha team at Orlando 1. In the 250 heat race, title contender Christian Craig went down hard and suffered a hand injury. He gutted through the LCQ and managed a third place finish, salvaging valuable championship points. After the race, his wife, Paige, posted on Instagram that he did not suffer any fractures and that they will get a second opinion.
In the 450 main event, rookie Dylan Ferrandis went down in a rhythm section and was landed on by another rider. Luckily, he didn’t suffer any major injuries according to the team.
“It was a difficult day with only two practices on a tough track,” Ferrandis said in a post-race press release. “I managed to get a good start in the main and was feeling good. I tried some different rhythm sections then ended up crashing. I got hit by the rider next to me in the stomach and couldn’t breathe for a moment. I was okay in the end, but my race was over.”
Tour Pastranaland
Ever wanted the ultimate play land for you know, grown adults that like doing kid shit? Yeah, Slaw too. Unfortunately writing fire blogs doesn’t allow one to afford such a play land. So, I will live vicariously through Travis Pastrana.
Red Bull recently took a tour of the facility in Maryland, and my god, if you can’t have fun here you are just not a fun person.
Brayton vs RC, Who You Got?
MotoCar Fite Klub is coming to Traveler’s Rest Speedway in South Carolina on February 25.
